Albuquerque's Northeast Heights

The Northeast Heights is an often requested area of Albuquerque. The NE Heights designation covers multiple neighborhoods including, North Albuquerque Acres, Albuquerque Acres West, Far Northeast Heights, Academy West, Uptown and Northeast Heights.

The Northeast Heights is one of the largest and most diverse areas of NE Albuquerque, and includes Holiday Park, the gated community of Towne Park and the Presidio Townhomes & Condos. Medical facilities include the M.D. Anderson Cancer Center located at Presbyterian Anna Kaseman Hospital. Get out and enjoy the weather at the Los Altos Golf course or the many entertainment locations.  The area is bound by Montgomery and Central (north and south), and by Wyoming and Tramway (west and east).

North Albuquerque Acres

Surround yourself with views of the Sandia Mountains and the city lights. North Albuquerque Acres is bordered by Tennyson and Holbrook/Ventura, and by Elena and San Antonio/Paseo. North Albuquerque Acres features luxury homes on large lots. Many of the homes are on wells and septic systems. 

Albuquerque Acres West

The Albuquerque Acres West area offers multiple private gated communities in the highly desirable La Cueva School District. Nearby shopping and restaurants are booming and options abound from quite cafes to upscale dining and shopping.  This area is bordered by Ventura and I-25 and Paseo Del Norte and Tramway.

Far Northeast Heights

The Far Northeast Heights area is home to the upscale, gated Tanoan community featuring a country club and championship golf course as well as Cherry Hills, Heritage East and Heritage Hills communities. Numerous shopping and medical facilities are nearby.  Also nearby are highly rated private schools.  The area is east of Wyoming between Montgomery and Paseo, and west of Tramway between Montgomery and San Antonio.

Academy West 

The Academy West area features townhomes, condos and residential homes.  Around the corner is Arroyo Del Oso Public Golf Course. Academy West is adjacent to Century 24 Theater and many restaurants.  This area covers Montgomery on the south, Paseo del Norte to the north, with I-25 on the west  and Wyoming Blvd to the east.

Albuquerque Uptown

The Uptown area is centrally located and includes a new upscale shopping center, dining options, and a large business district. The area includes established neighborhoods with affordable homes.  The Uptown area includes  Montgomery on the north, Interstate I-40 as southern edge, with Interstate I-25 as eastern edge and Wyoming on the west.
